This is very true, most adults give out the blanket cover ‘DON’T GIVE ANY INFORMATION OUT!!!!!’ message and it really doesn’t work. Everyone will still post that information and it does NOT mean the child or teenager concerned will get kidnapped.

Yes, they have reason to be worried about children’s safety, that’s all part of parenting but a more educated ‘Name, age, picture is fine, just don’t post nudes or meet up with strangers alone.’ approach would be far better.
