Any suggestions for internet monitoring software for the Mac?

November 30th, 2008

I have a few pre-teen and teenage kids that always visit my house and are on my computer. Any recommendations on software that I can use on my Mac to monitor their usage?

Actually, if your computer is using Mac OS X 10.5 (aka Leopard), there are parental controls that you can set up for a specific account on your computer and will log the sites they visit, along with other parental controls.

To set up parental controls for an account, open System Preferences (in your Applications folder or in the Apple menu), then click on Parental Controls under the System category.
If you want a more robust filter, try MacWebFilter.com
