Just remember if you pay nothing, you may very well get exactly what you paid for, nothing. We have 5 kids in our house and we have the same concerns that you do. We found a program called MyWebFilter.com. It costs about $5 but it's a wonderful program that protects your kids. The filter protects the whole family. There are no ways to bypass it.
